How I wrote this podcast

Artist: Pamela Hensley

This summer, writer and ELAN Board Member Pamela Hensley started recording the first season of her new podcast How I Wrote This at the Community Digital Arts Hub studio. Fascinated by the story behind their stories, she listens as writers in Quebec’s literary scene talk about the funny, surprising, and sometimes harrowing events that shaped their work and their lives. Over the course of nine episodes, you'll hear Anita Rau Badami talk about tensions within the Indian diasporic community, Baharan Baniahmadi on living a duplicitous life in Tehran, Kim Thuy on survival aboard a refugee boat, and Neil Smith on turning tragedy into art.
