CDAH in the Regions’ partnership with The Coasters Association in the region of the Lower North Shore included 2 parts:
In Person workshops in video and photography in LaTabatière, Chevery, and Harrington Harbour in April 2024, and an
Online filmmaking workshop for the Youth Hub in St-Paul’s River in January and February 2025.

Participants met over zoom for 4 mentorship sessions with filmmaker Luckas Cardona-Morisset, who guided participants through different online platforms, offered suggestions to story development, and answered technical questions from lighting, audio recording and editing.

Using an online model, the subject for this training came out of the needs highlighted during the Mentorship Circles.
CDAH offered technical training in video editing and support with sound recording. Participants were given a tutorial in using CapCut and had access to CDAH’s Adobe Premiere suite.
